Dr. Burns is a board certified sub-specialist in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He sees patients in  the Marshall University Medical Center for general infertility, reproductive endocrine disorders, and assisted reproduction, including in vitro fertilization. He has hospital privileges at Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.

  William  N. Burns, MD  

He received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed  a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Oklahoma, and a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia.

 He  has worked in university based practices since 1986, including one and one half years in Charleston, West Virginia.  In 2003, he joined the faculty  of  the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and is an Associate Professor. He is  Director, Division of  Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, and he is  also the Director of the Center for Advanced Reproductive Medicine at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
