Dr. Nerhood is a Board certified obstetrician-gynecologist. He sees both obstetric and gynecologic patients. His particular areas of interest are geriatric gynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery. He has hospital privileges at Cabell-Huntington Hospital and  St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV.

  Robert C. Nerhood, MD

Dr. Nerhood  completed  medical school and a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia. He served as a Major in the Medical Corps of the United States Air Force and has practiced medicine in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts. He joined the faculty of the School of Medicine in 1992 and is Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics  & Gynecology.  He is Vice President of the Board of Directors of University Physicians & Surgeons, Inc. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cabell Huntington Hospital and as Chairman of the West Virginia Section of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
