Thomas Memorial Hospital, partnered with the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University, is pleased to offer South Charleston access to the highest levels of perinatal care. University Perinatal Associates at Thomas Memorial Hospital, under the direction of maternal-fetal medicine subspecialist, David Chaffin, MD, offers pregnant women state of the art ultrasound services including 4D ultrasound, echocardiography of the fetal heart, and first trimester NT screening. Consultative assistance for maternal medical problems including hypertension and diabetes as well as others is available.
