Become a part of an academic, clinically focused multispecialty practice group situated in a community based medical school geared toward training primary care doctors. The Marshall University Department of Internal medicine is the largest clinical department in the school. Generalists comprise the bulk of the faculty and focus primarily on patient care and personal interaction with students and residents. A large, new state of the art ambulatory practice facility is driving a move toward expanding several sections in internal medicine. The work environment is unusually relaxed, supportive and pleasurable. There is a excellent opportunity for clinicians, clinician-educators and clinical researchers.
