Dr. Savory joined the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall
University in 1979 as a Clinical Instructor. He became a full-time
faculty member in 1981 as a general internist in the Department of
Internal Medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree at the
University of Michigan in 1971. After graduating from the University of
Michigan School of Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1975, he completed
a residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in 1978.
Between 1978 and 1981, he was employed by the United States Public
Health Service at Grant Medical Center in Milton, West Virginia. Dr.
Savory is currently employed as an attending physician at Mildred
Mitchell-Bateman Hospital (psychiatric) and at Hanshaw Geriatric Center.
