Let's Get Moving!  Program Enrolling Children 7 to 12 years of age

(through December 2008)

Who Qualifies? 

• Children ages 7 to 12 with a Body Mass Index (BMI) greater than 85th percentile for age and gender as measured by the Program Coordinator.

What are the Benefits?

• 4 physician visits at UP&S Pediatrics over 12 months

  *These visits do not replace your child's regular physician visits

• 1 year child's membership to Huntington High Youth/Senior YMCA
• 15% discount to Huntington High Youth/Senior YMCA for participants' families
• Individualized exercise program using innovative Sportwalls™ & activities from
  American Council on Exercise (ACE)
• Nutrition counseling, grocery store shopping tours & cooking classes
• 2 lab draw to assess for diabetes, high cholesterol, & liver disease
