"The Marshall University Family Medicine Residency Program has allowed me more flexibility than any other training program that I interviewed at. I was able to complete an 8 week Tropical Medicine course over a 2 year period. I was able to do an outstanding Sports Medicine elective in my home state of Wisconsin. And I was able to take my family with me to a 6 week experience at a rural missionary hospital in Malawi. Most importantly, I found a nurturing clinical environment here in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains among physicians with interests as varied as the fish in the sea.
