The Marshall University Institutional Review Board #1 (IRB #1) has overlapping membership with each of the institutions represented: The IRB approves research studies for Marshall University/University Physicians & Surgeons, Inc., Cabell Huntington Hospital, St. Mary’s Medical Center, and the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month with expedited review every two weeks.
